Two-Step Verification

Two-step verification is available to add an extra level of security to your Ustocktrade accounts.

Two-step verification will be required for all incoming and outgoing fund transfers and will be an optional feature for account login.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Two-Step verification cannot be enabled on a mobile device. You will need to login to the Ustocktrade Web application to enable this.

Verification Options

The following methods can be used in your Two-Step Verification. Only one of the options can be active at a time.

Enabling the Authenticator App

  1. Save or take note of the backup key as you will require this to verify your account if you cannot receive a verification code.
  2. Download the Authenticator App
  3. Link the authenticator to your Ustocktrade account
    • Use the Scan QR code OR
    • Enter the provided Key in the app
  4. Enter the two consecutive verification codes

  

Enabling Email Verification

  1. Save or take note of the backup key as you will require this to verify your account if you cannot receive a verification code.
  2. Send code to your email
  3. Enter the code

If you wish to change your email address, you can do so in the My Profile section of your Ustocktrade account.

 

Enabling Mobile Verification

  1. Save or take note of the backup key as you will require this to verify your account if you cannot receive a verification code.
  2. Send the code to your mobile phone
  3. Enter code

If you wish to change your mobile number, you can do so in the My Profile section of your Ustocktrade account.

 

 

Successfully Enabled Verification

Enable/Disable Two-Step Verification for Login

You can enable/disable Two-Step Verification for login (optional) and change the Two-Step Verification method in the Security Settings page of your Ustocktrade account.

In addition, you can also choose to receive an email for each login attempt to your Ustocktrade account.

 

 

Fund Transfers

When initiating a fund transfer to or from your Ustocktrade account you will be prompted for your Two-Step Verification Code.

 

Logging In

If you have enabled Two-Step Verification for logging in, you will be prompted for a verification code after entering your username and password.

 

 

Using Your Backup Key

If you no longer have access to your authenticator app, phone or email and need to use your backup key, you can simply enter your backup key instead of the verification code.

Locked out?

Locate your backup key and enter your backup key as your Verification code to re-enable 2-Step Verification.

If you are unable to find your backup key, shoot support@ustocktrade.com an email to request for the Two-Step Verification to be reset.
